Groups Sales Manager

We are looking for a Groups Sales Manager to maximise revenues and profits within the Groups / Events segments. The Groups Sales Manager will solicit new leads, confirm and manage group business in local and national markets as well as the Sport & Entertainment industries directly from corporate accounts, sponsors and specialised agencies.
Role responsibilities include keeping up to date with current market conditions, competitors and clients to establish strong sales programmes; proactively be knowledgeable of events, meetings and opportunities that can present potential sales; effectively plan outreach methods to secure new clients and maintain current business; to maximise revenue and ensuring that departmental targets are met.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years’ experience in a proactive sales role within a London Five Star Hotel. You will be familiar with Groups and Events management software such as Delphi and have a good working knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Office and any Sales company software. You will also have a passion for the Luxury hotel industry and excellent communication skills.
